When
it first opened 17 years ago Brighouse Dry Cleaners struggled to dry
clean 100 garments per week. Now 17 years on, it dry cleans
approximately 3000 per week with ease, all of it overseen by
proprietor Martin Tordoff.
The growth and reputation of Brighouse Dry Cleaners has been
built on sensible pricing whilst retaining quality of cleaning.
Their customers know that they will clean their items until they are
as clean they can get them without charging the earth.
Over recent years the business has undergone a major
refurbishment to create a welcoming and comfortable reception area,
complete with attractive lighting, new counter, comfy chairs and a
changing room for customers who want to try their clothes on before
having alterations done. New storage and hanging space has also been
created to help the small and friendly team deal with customers more
efficiently.
As a result of the refurbishment, Brighouse Dry Cleaners is
offering all customers the opportunity to become members of their
Privilege Club. For a £12 joining fee regular customers can take
advantage of having four garments dry cleaned for £13, as often as
they wish over a 12 month period. The offer is available on all
garments other than suede’s, leathers and wedding gowns. Club
members will also receive exclusive seasonal offers, a free suit
cover and free entry into regular prize draws.
The business offers cleaning facilities for all types of garments
as well as curtains, duvets, chair covers and bedspreads.
All suede’s, leathers and wedding gowns are sent to a specialist
company which uses specifically formulated chemicals for use on
skins and silk fabrics where beads or sequins may be present.
